Project Overview
This curriculum is set for Middle - High School grade levels. This project is paced to take between 8 - 10 weeks. Vocabulary, functionality, and properties were taught to grasp an understanding on a Introduction level. Degree of difficulty and range of requirements varied based on grade level.

The Freelance projects were unique because I was challenge to convey exactly what the client wanted and still have their own flare of personality and creativity.
My Contributions
As the educator, I was able to introduce a new design software to students before hearing about it at an university level (Adobe creative suite and Canva). During these teachings, I was able to guide my students 4 projects to familiarize them with functionalities. My students were were prepared to take the next Graphic Design academic course for the next year. My contributions were supplying with them as many valuable resources available and providing feedback which helped scholars perceive their work from different viewpoints.
The challenges faced during this set of curriculum-based projects were the varying class sizes, lack of funding / equipment, and lack of support within the school building. The challenges faced during the freelance projects were consistent communication with clients and trail-&-error moments to ensure the perfect product was presented.

I had the opportunity to create flyers and apparel for my previous schools, which gave me hands-on experience and feedback as I brought personality and spunk to my schools. I gathered ideas and thoughts from my peers, scholars, and community on how to best represent the school.

Freelance projects provide me with the opportunity to fully express my creativity all while bringing my schools' dreams and personality to life. Communication and feedback is important when working on freelance projects and I strive to give clients the best quality of work.
